After a 7 year break, we brought back the Bend Classic Mile two years ago. While it is settling into its new space on our calendar (NOW IN JUNE), we are super excited to host this fast and flat closed street mile. Challenge a friend, or work team, train for a personal best or simply come on out and have some downtown fun with us! Register early as spaces are limited and we think you’ll have a blast.
Race Details
- When: Sunday June 21st
- Where: Downtown Bend, staging for the race will be here at the FootZone, with the start and finish just a few yards from the front door. (842 NW Wall St)
- Distance: 1 MILE
- Price: REGISTRATION NOW OPEN for 2026 RACE!

- Now – June 6th: $30 adult, Youth (18 and under) $25
- June 7th – June 21st: (or until race sells out): $40 adult, Youth (18 and under) $35
- June 21st: Day off race registration available until 3:45 PM.
- ALL registered participants will receive a commemorative item, official time, and post-race refreshments!
- Start Time: ~ 4:15 PM. We’ll need to have you staged early and our start time will be approximate based on the nature of fitting in between bike events. We have only a short time between races to stage everyone, race, and clear the streets for the next bike race! Please plan accordingly!
- Packet Pickup: Sunday June 21st, Day of race bib pick up from 1-3:45 PM – Please consider getting your packet as early as possible to allow adequate time for staging. Please plan accordingly for downtown traffic, limited parking and getting into downtown as we expect delays due to road closures. Packet Pickup: at FootZone located in Downtown Bend at 842 NW Wall Street.
- Where: FootZone 842 NW Wall Street, Bend OR
- Pace: Due to our limited time slot in the event schedule ALL racers should be able to complete the mile in 10 minutes or under, unfortunately we can not accommodate walkers, dogs or strollers in this event.
- Course: A circuit in downtown bend, please see the attached map, the event will be 1 mile and require ~ 1.5 laps of the bike race course. (slightly altered start location from the bike route with shared finish line on Wall St)
- AWARDS: We will have awards for the top three Men and Women as well as a special Youth award, immediately following the event back at the FootZone.
