Information for Vendors

WHAT TO EXPECT: Hours 12 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

LOCATION: NW Minnesota between NW Wall and NW Bond.

The Bend Downtown Criterium festival is held in conjunction with the Bend Downtown Criterium bike race. The “Crit” draws hundreds of professional, junior, and amateur cyclists and cycling teams from all around the world.

Attendance for the one-day event averages between 5,000-8,000.  The last time that this event was held was in 2017 as part of the Cascade Cycling Classic. That year set a record in crowd attendance. Since this is the first year back in 7 years, downtown Bend is going to be busy.

PARKING AND TRAFFIC

The festival area and racecourse is closed to traffic starting at 9 a.m.  Please arrive in the area (Minnesota Ave. between Wall and Bond) by 8:30 a.m.  Your reserved space will have your name on it.  Please make sure all vehicles are out of the vendor area by 10:00 a.m.  Event staff can help you drive out if needed.  Parking for vehicles is available within walking distance of the vendor area.  You will receive further instructions in advance via email communication.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR VENDORS

Only food vendors have access to power.  Vendors are discouraged from bringing their own generators as they are loud and give off fumes.  Please keep your vendor area neat and clean.  Bring trash and recycling bins/bags for trash generated by you and your patrons.

Vendors will be responsible for bringing a 10×10 tent, tables, chairs, etc.  Event organizers are providing the space and the ability for vendors to showcase their products or services to thousands of people.

All vendors will need to make sure that their space is accessible and that all vendors are in compliance with all City of Bend ADA requirements.

The Bend Downtown Criterium is managed and operated by the Horner Cycling Foundation non-profit.  For more information, contact Molly Cogswell-Kelley at molly@hornerlawllp.com, 541-480-6975, www.hornercyclingfoundation.com.
